The Knowledge Oscars, a prestigious award in the education system, were presented on Wednesday, June 10, at the 22nd ceremony held in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall to 484 of the best primary and secondary school students for outstanding achievements in the past school year.
The Deputy Children's Ombudsman Tatjana Holjevac attended the award ceremony.
The Education and Teacher Training Agency, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, awards the Knowledge Oscar for first place at the national level in knowledge, music, and dance competitions, as well as for exceptional achievements in international competitions. Mentors of the awarded students received Certificates of Appreciation for their dedicated and professional work.
The ceremony brought together the best Croatian students, their parents, teachers, mentors, principals, and numerous guests from educational, scientific, and public life. The program presented the most successful students from various fields, from natural sciences, mathematics, informatics, robotics, and STEM disciplines to languages, arts, music, dance, technical culture, religious education, debate, and other areas in which Croatian students achieve excellent results.
